Overview: The Celebrity Winterfest is a high-profile event-packed weekend that provides a unique opportunity for company team building, client development and fun head-to-head competition between the participating companies.
Benefits: Supports Special Olympics Northern California year-round athletic training and competition programs for children and adults with development disabilities.
How it works:16 companies buy a team slot for 8 employees, clients or vendors and their guests. These 8 team members are randomly paired with a Special Olympics Athlete and a Celebrity from your favorite TV shows or Movies. This 10 member team competes against the other 15 teams in a fun-filled giant slalom race at Diamond Peak.
Exposure: National and Regional print campaign projected to generate 4 million print impressions.

• “Reach for the Gold" Corporate Ski Challenge at Diamond Peak. Grab your skis and join the fun at Diamond Peak with the other competitors. Show your company pride as you go head-to-head down the slopes in a giant slalom course specifically designed for this race. Enjoy lunch on the hill and watch your competitors race on the beautiful outdoor patio at Diamond Peak with a perfect view of the finish line.
• “Gold Medal" Awards Dinner at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe. Enjoy a wonderful meal and find out which teams and individuals won. Awards given for 1st place team—lowest overall time, 2nd place team, 3rd place team, Most Outrageously Dressed team, Fastest Skier and Best Spill.
• "Live Auction" Bid on some fantastic live auction packages and feel good knowing you are supporting the amazing Special Olympics athletes in Northern California and Nevada.

• “Plungefest” A new addition to Winterfest, you’ll think skiing down the mountain was the easy part. Do you dare to take the plunge for Special Olympics? “Plungefest is a new and unique opportunity for Winterfest guest and others to raise additional funds for Special Olympics by running into “wet snow” or as it is better known, the icy cold waters of Lake Tahoe.

Individual Tickets $250 to $1,000 per person
